The Runnymede Boy's Phys-Ed Department has a long standing history in athletics and student achievement. Rich with many awards and championships the athletic tradition continues with many varsity and intramural teams competing each year. Best known for it's noteriety in basketball (including five OFSAA championships) and football, the Phys-Ed and Athletics Department offers a variety of sports opportunities to all athletes. A focus on new curriculum implimentation including many new and exciting focus courses in outdoor education, fitness and weight training, and leadership provides a well rounded academic program for all students. The young and enthusiastic staff of Mr. K and Hugh Rowland (Department Head) with their diverse educational and athletic backgrounds provide good role modelling and support systems for the students.
