All students must complete and submit a co-operative education application form to their monitoring teacher. The first four weeks will not be in the work place but in the classroom preparing for the workplace. Students will be shown everything from how to make a professional resume to how to do a proper hand shake. Students will have to attend an in school co-op session aproximately every 3 weeks. Every day the student will complete a entry on two seperate forms which are to be collected during the in school session. One telling the activities performed and the other telling about the student's thoughts about the work place and any problems they are having at the work place.Also each student will have the chance to participate in the Runnymede Collegiate Career Fair which takes place in February. The students are to complete a display board complete with pictures and information about their career field and placement. |
