With every passing day higher education is required for every career. With every advancement in computers and medicine etc employees need a better education. Co-op offers and experience to high school students to have a emplyment opportunity which they could not normaly have. This gives them a chance to experience a field which interests them and earn credits towards their diploma at the same time On site learning and to experience professional work habbits builds leadership and unity. It shows the student a professional place of business and with effort the student adapts and becomes an employee. Students who have a successful Co-op experience may be eligable to get into the OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program) which means they will have their college tuition paid for. |
